In order to introduce its latest innovation, SOHO held a health talk and grand launch of Curcuma Plus Milk, on October 19, 2019, at Plataran Menteng, Jakarta. On that occasion, SOHO presented expert speakers, including Prof. Dr. dr. Rini Sekartini, SpA(K) Child Development and Growth Specialist who is also the Chairman of IDAI (Indonesian Pediatrician Association), Child Psychologist Tari Sandjojo, Psi, and SOHO Global Health Marketing Healthcare Vice President, Sylvia A. Rizal. In the grand launching of Curcuma Plus Milk, SOHO also introduced Curcuma Plus' brand ambassador, Nagita Slavina, an artist who inspired many Indonesian mothers who were also attend the event with her son, Rafathar.
With the theme "Smart Solution for Feeding Children for Optimal Growth and Development”, the speakers shared their knowledge with more than 50 media and bloggers who attended the talkshow. This event was also covered by television media, RCTI, MNC and INEWS, which aired on Sunday, October 21, 2018.
The event, which was attended by SOHO officials and Alfamart partners, was also enlivened by the Best Insta Story and Best Posting Instagram social media competitions with gift shopping vouchers for 10 winners. The bloggers and the media also seemed enthusiastic in joining the social media competition from the beginning of the event.
To make the moment more special, at the end of the event, the media, bloggers, and invited guests brought home the Organic Temulawak plant. Temulawak is Indonesian indigenous herbs, traditionally used for generations to maintain a healthy appetite, improve digestion, used to treat diarrhea, malaria, and various other types of diseases. SOHO Global Health also conducts Epigenetic (Gene Expression) study in Temulawak to examine and explore its health potentials. The results of SOHO Epigenetic study do support the verification of various health benefits of Temulawak, ranging from digestive health, anti-inflammation, to anti-cancer.
