Tan Eng Liang Named EY Entrepreneur of The Year 2018 for Category Lifetime Achievement Award

The owner and President Commissioner of PT SOHO Global Health, Mr. Tan Eng Liang, won the 2018 EY Entrepreneur of the Year (EOY) for category Lifetime Achievement Award on November 14, 2018. In addition to the main award for EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 there were four categories given at the awarding night of EY EOY Indonesia 2018. Mr. Tan Eng Liang won the Lifetime Achievement Award category for his contribution to business success throughout the course of his professional life.

Raising the theme "From entrepreneurs to tomorrow's world market leaders", EY EOY Indonesia 2018 was held at Ballroom 1 Ritz Carlton, Pacific Place. The EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 program was initiated and produced by Ernst & Young (EY) with full support from Standard Chartered Bank, Financial Club Jakarta as a supporting partner, and Forbes Indonesia as a media partner. As a leading business award program, EY EOY has been developed and held in more than 60 countries around the world.

"This award is an appreciation for the hard work of the entire SOHO Global Health team and the innovations that we continue to do to meet consumer needs," said Mr. Tan Eng Liang.

The main award of EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 Indonesia was won by Alisjahbana Haliman, CEO of PT Haldin Pacific Semesta and 2018 Social Entrepreneur of the Year awarded to Sabrina Bensawan, founder of Saab Share.

The winners of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award were selected through judging conducted by an independent judging panel with comprehensive assessment criteria including entrepreneurial spirit, value creation, strategic direction, national / global impact, innovation, and integrity.

Launched first in Indonesia in 2001, the program has given appreciation to more than 200 Indonesian entrepreneurs for their achievements and contributions to the business world and society.

Congratulations to the winners of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 awards, success for Mr. Tan Eng Liang and PT SOHO Global Health.
