Jakarta (20/03) – SOHO Global Health with its flagship brands Diapet, Laxing and Curcuma Plus won the WOW Brand 2018 in prestigious event held by MarkPlus, Inc and Marketeers. Diapet won Gold Champion for the anti-diarrhea product category, Laxing won Bronze Champion for constipation product category, and Curcuma Plus won Bronze Champion for Children Multivitamin category. Humbly proud, Diapet was chosen to be the "Top 50 Brand" Indonesia Wow Brand 2018. This means Diapet entry in the Top 50 rank as the most recommended brand by Indonesian consumers.
MarkPlus, Inc. and Marketeers again reward brand holders in Indonesia through the WOW Brand Festive Day event. This year is the third year of WOW Brand Festive Day held after success in 2016 and 2017. This year event was held on March 8, 2018 at Hotel Raffless Jakarta. MarkPlus Inc Founder Chairman Hermawan Kartajaya stated that this event is an event for marketers in Indonesia and the celebration of success for sales, service, and promotion people.
MarkPlus, Inc. through one of its divisions MarkPlus Insight, has conducted a survey in 2017 to 5,800 respondents in several big cities in Indonesia namely Greater Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, to Makassar. This survey refers to the concept of WOW Marketing that adopts the marketing concept from Prof. Philip Kotler, known as Father of Modern Marketing. Respondents were asked for opinions about brands based on five categories: Aware, Appeal, Ask, Act, and Advocate. There are thousands of brands mentioned by respondents. From the brand names listed, then scoring and ranking being performed based on the concept of Brand Advocacy Ratio (BAR).
Based on the survey 300 leading brands selected from various sectors and industries in Indonesia. This award was given based on the recommendation or high advocacy level, namely Indonesia WOW Brand 2018. Moreover, a rating of 50 brands with the highest recommendation value – what so called Brand Advocacy Ratio (BAR) – also being made. The higher the BAR or closer to 1 (one) index, the higher the rank of the brand in WOW Brand Top 50.
